Rockwell (born Kennedy William Gordy on March 15, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan) is a former R&B performer who was signed to the Motown label.

Rockwell is the son of Motown founder and CEO Berry Gordy and Margaret Norton. To avoid charges of nepotism, Rockwell secured his record deal without his father’s knowledge.[1] Motown came up with the name Rockwell. Rockwell changed his name because he believed he “rocked well.”

The Fisher-Price PXL2000 (also known as the PixelVision by Fisher-Price, and the KiddieCorder by some of its fans) is a toy black-and-white camcorder produced in 1987 that uses a compact audio cassette as its recording medium. The original designer at Fisher-Price was Andrew I. Bergman (1950-2007).[1]

When the PXL2000 was available in retail outlets, it came in two versions—one with just the camera and necessary accessories (power supply, blank tape, etc.), and another which came packaged with a portable black and white television with a 4.5 in (114.3 mm) diagonal screen, for use as a monitor. There were also extra accessories sold separately, such as a carrying case.

A series of action figures based on the cartoon were produced by Hasbro in 1986. The scientist figures each had an action power and all figures had “glow in the light” features. Metlar, Tendril and D’Compose were 14″ figures and are the most sought after.

The original series of Mutors had a variety of toy figures: Redlen (dark redwood), Redsun (light redwood), Redwood Race (grey redwood), Granok (grey granite) and Granite Race (beige granite).

A second series of Inhumanoids figures was in the works at the time of the line’s cancellation. The only character confirmed to reach the prototype stage by an ex-Hasbro employee was Ssslither (although Tank and Sabre Jet’s animated design would strongly indicate that they were based on intended toys). A set of these prototype figures was said to have been sold on Ebay in the early 1990s, but there are no pictures or collectors stepping forward to confirm which other characters made it to the prototype stage. Additionally, Ebay did not exist in the early 1990s, thus throwing this claim into doubt.
