Epic Win: Elaine Dance from Seinfeld

Oct. 19, 2009

Sure, you can still turn on the television and see Seinfeld on just about any station, but it’s hard not to get nostalgic after seeing the original cast reunited on this season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Anyway, Julia Louis-Dreyfus’s dancing is one of the most memorable jokes from an entirely memorable show.

Epic Win: I Dream of Jeannie

Great show with a great theme song. It just me, or is I Dream of Jeannie > Bewitched? That’s up for debate!

(Actually, when casting the role of Jeannie, the show’s creator wanted to make sure that it didn’t go to someone who too closely resembled Elizabeth Montgomery from Bewitched.)

Once Upon A Win

Submitted by M Muldoon

Dinosaurs wasn’t a particularly funny show, but for some reason, it’s remained in our collective consciousness since its debut in ‘91 — nostalgia win! The show was a cross between Muppets, The Simpsons, and, uh, dinosaurs.

Speaking of frying pans, does anybody remember this?

Epic Win: Boy Meets World

Jul. 17, 2009

Submitted by Lisa A

Boy Meets World’s seven-season run was classic from beginning to end. Cory Matthews represented the awkward adolescent in all of us, and Mr. Feeney represented the weird teacher that stalked us from middle school through college.

But seriously, is Topanga even a real name?

Epic Win: Quantum Leap

Jun. 18, 2009

Submitted by Elizabeth H

Watching Dr. Sam Beckett travel through time and save people’s lives was so epic. Each week we’d get a different sample of the lives of people from around the world, often so foreign from our own lives that we’d learn something new about culture, people, and life.
