Epic Win: Little Critter Stories

Jun. 8, 2009

Submitted by Lindsay Y

Little Critter was a fun book for youngsters, since he was always getting into trouble or losing something or messing something up. Our favorite part of the book was the spider and the cricket that used to always follow him around. They were very simple characters, but they were always there watching the hijinks or surveying the damage.

Epic Win: Pat the Bunny

Pat the Bunny is a great baby/toddler book for teaching them about the world. Petting the bunny was always the best since the fabric was so soft.

We always wanted to have our own tree. A couple of us had to settle with an old tree with a tire swing in our grandparent’s backyard. We always cried when the boy chopped the tree down and we always thought the tree was being rather generous when it offered him a seat at the end.

Remember all of the cute little stories about Frog and Toad? Like when Toad was sitting on his porch lamenting that he never gets any mail so Frog mails him a letter?
Yet another Epic Win for bedtime story time.

Remember following Harold on his journey through the land he creates with his purple crayon? A trip in a boat and a tree guarded by a dragon? This was one of our favorite bedtime stories.
