The Outsiders is such a classic troubled youth film. Who knew that the film was inspired by a middle school class that wrote Francis Ford Coppola asking that he make the movie.
Not only was it an awesome novel and movie, but The Outsiders broke out so many big stars – Matt Dillon, Ralph Macchio, Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez, Tom Cruise, and Leif Garrett, to name a few.

What happened to all of the good fantasy films? It seems like when the ’90s came around, everyone decided wizards and swordplay just wasn’t for Hollywood anymore. Thankfully Val Kilmer gave us just a taste before the ’90s started, even though, upon rewatching Willow, Val is terrible at wielding a sword. That didn’t stop Willow from being totally epic though!

“Don’t like her?! What’s wrong with her?! She’s beautiful. She’s rich. She’s got huge… tracts o’ land!”
“What… is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?”
“Ni!”

We could go on and on… Monty Python and the Holy Grail is an almost inexhaustible source of epic quotes that are still used so frequently that they sometimes get annoying, even 34 years after the movies release… But we doubt that will stop you all from doing it, so get on with it!

Drive-Ins were totally Epic Win! What could be better than you’re own private “booth” (aka the front seat of your car) for watching a movie. Or sometimes, you’d bring the pickup truck with the lawnchairs. The real trick was cramming as many people as possible into the vehicle, underneath a stack of blankets, so as to minimize the amount you each had to pay to get in. Or, if you were lucky, your Drive-In charged by the carload. There was also the speakerboxes that were later replaced by the AM/FM stereo broadcast. Last but not least, Drive-Ins were almost always showed double features!
