(I have no idea why that clip is ten minutes long. I would skim it if I were you…)
Ah, Number Munchers — one of the original math games. I’m still pretty good at basic mathematical functions, and I owe it all to you, Number Munchers. Hooray!
Though Number Munchers is an epic win in its own right, does anyone else think Math Blaster is just as worthy of the title? And I’m talking the DOS version of Math Blaster where you did a subtraction problem and got to shoot aliens, not garbage.

I know a lot of people that considers this old program a win. One could defragment a drive while looking all those colored blockies, and never get bored.
Actually, it seems pretty boring to me, but the colored blocks sure do make me long for the days when I owned a PC. Kind of.

Ah yes, the After Dark screensavers. I remember when people used to pay for screensavers, but I guess if you’re putting down cash for flying toasters, it’s money well spent.
Now, you can download a similar version for free — on Macs and PCs. When the computer goes to sleep, you go nostalgic.

I remember using Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing in computer class. There was a level where you were racing a car. It was way cooler than it sounds, I swear. I never did catch that car though…
Nowadays, kids don’t need software to teach them how to type. No, they’re totally wired in, sending text messages every ten seconds. Damn kids!
