Return of the ’80s Music Video Thursday
And here’s this week’s installment of awesomely terribly awesomely terribly awesome ’80s video. As always, recommendations for next week are welcomed in the comments.
“Our House” by Madness submitted by xjuggernaughtx
Fun song, fun band. I actually kind of enjoyed watching this.
“We Built This City” by Starship submitted by Miroku
Correctly identified by many commenters as “the worst song ever.” I recommend viewing this video with your sound on mute.
“I Know What Boys Like” by the Waitresses
Contender of the title of Least Sexy Video of All Time. Maybe runner up to this.
“Rock Me Tonight” by Billy Squier
My pick. This video made me realize that Billy Squier was more flamboyant than Freddie Mercury. I didn’t even know that was possible.
