“ALLLLVIIIIIIIIIINNN!!!!”

After revisiting some YouTube clips of Alvin and the Chipmunks, we’ve decided that it was definitely one of those, “had to been there” kind of things where unless you were there for the cartoon, you just can’t see why this was an epic win. Especially after that terrible movie came out. In any case, here’s Alvin and the Chipmunks rendition of Love Potion #9 (if you’re easily susceptible to earworms, we highly recommend you avoid watching this clip):

You Don’t Know Jack was the ultimate catalyst for fighting with siblings and cousins. Even though we didn’t know it, our parents were totally tricking us into doing art when we they gave us the watercolor Paint with Water books. It’s a shame most of us never graduated to painting with water without the books as a guide, however, many a masterpiece, torn from the book, were hung from our refrigerators. Most of our masterpieces are probably still filed away in some folder or file, waiting to be remembered.
