Truthfully, I’m not a big fan of musicals, but I would gladly sit down and watch The Apple, just to try and understand WTF is going on. According to Wikipedia, it was a critically panned disco-musical, a not-so-subtle parable of the biblical fall.

The Apple is awesomely bad. I just watched it with my girlfriend the other day and she’s been cursing me for getting that awful “Juju Apple, Voodoo Apple” song stuck in her head.
OMGROTFL… my sister and i grew up overseas and we used to watch this movie all the time… we really thought we were the only ones in the whole world who had seen it because no one back her in the states had ever heard of it… like it was a mythical-hilariously-bad-movie made just for us. We even have it on DVD and occasionally get together to enjoy the sheer awesome velocity of suckage. Thank you for letting us know we are not alone. bwwahahahahaaaaa…

I started watching this OnDemand the other day. It hurt, a lot.
That’s where I’ve seen it too & never made it all the way thru either.
I thought Sgt. Pepper was the worst musical of that late 70s/early 80s era, but I was wrong. At least Sgt. Pepper had Frampton, the Bee Gees, Aerosmith, & Alice Cooper, fairly big acts of the day. This had…ummm…no one.

Dude! I’ve watched this movie so many times, and it’s hilarious every time! I love it! Watch out for the super surprise ending……. WOW! LOL.
Oh hell I’ve not seen this in ages..and yes it qualifies as nostalgia. Cheese can still be nostalgic.
Some day 30 years down the road our kids’ kids will look back at Highschool Musical and say WTF too. Come to think of it, they’ll probably look at “WTF” as quaint too. “Wow, Grandma. You mean you couldn’t even say f*** in polite company?”
