I think he's one of the best characters Looney Tunes ever came up with. It's a shame he's almost ignored compared to Bugs, Daffy etc. Maybe the "less is more" approach they used with him helps make him so special. They always kept us hungry for more rather than over-using him. Another related epic win is the SNES game Daffy Duck: the Marvin Missions. That was an epic use of the classic Marvin cartoons in a video game. The only thing that would have been even better would be if they had made both Daffy and Marvin playable. Why they didn't call the game 'Duck Dodgers and the 27th and a Half Century' is beyond me. Daffy didn't go by his "real" name in the Marvin cartoons.
