“Don LaFontaine MagicHugs” Youtube it.
Movie Trailer guy…auto WIN
Thumbs down. LaFontaine was awesome, but this is just too recent.
Ummm, he started doing voiceovers in 1962. How is that too recent?
I agree. I think this is a pretty nice tribute to an iconic guy.
Legacy Win.
THAT WAS EPIC!
AWESOME!!! Ok folks, how many can you name!?
LMFAO
The long hunt for legends of the english terminator cousin part III
Cruise Control
XDXD
epicest title ever
i always wondered who that was…it sucks that he died
Me too, didn’t know it was all the same guy! I thought it was just required to have some dramatic sounding voice do a synopsis. o0
Ed Harris
Ed Harris
Ed Harris
and Ed Harris!
Don’t forget Ed Harris
I got a kick out of the commerical he did for I think it was for Geico insurance. He “epiced” a woman’s dealings with Geico by putting it in movie trailer form. A true classic moment for him.
You can You-Tube those. i just did lol. This guys was the bomb. R.I.P.
Don LaFontaine was the man, but not everything in this video was him.
Yeah, I’m pretty sure I heard Peter Cullen (does voiceovers, too, and is best known as the voice of Optimus Prime) on one about halfway through. But most of them are Don, I’m pretty sure.
I always thought it was cool that, at one time, he did answering machine messages on request for free.
In a world where there was an epic voice needed to add class, drama and panache to any film promo, Don LaFontaine was the great master of all. RIP
Blast from the ass
He’s the voice of hollywood for the 20th/21st century. Like pseudo-nudity in the ’60s, blacksploitation in the ’70s and teenagers with bad hair in the ’80s. Really, that’s not a good place to be.
I don’t wanna live… IN A WORLD… without Don LaFontaine.
Exactly! Living “IN A WORLD” without Don LaFontaine is just not as much fun. Or as dramatic…
Miss that guy. One of my epic voice-over heroes.
my high school english teacher was totally in love with him and his voiceover for the BORDELLO OF BLOOD trailer.
that was great, i have all ways wondered who did thouse clips t. thank you to who ever made the video
I think the very first “in a world” is actually Hal Douglas, the other movie voice over guy
I hated this douchebag’s voice, I’m glad he died.
pablo francisco does a pretty good impression lmao….
Can’t forget this little nugget movie trailer that has him doing a cameo voice over (at 1:05)

After all, trailers generally feature a deep voice that sounds like a seven foot man who has been smoking cigarettes since childhood.
