Epic Win: Teddy Grahams
Submitted and Written by Kevin D
I remember when I was a young lad I would check the grocery bags every time for some delicious little cookies shaped like lovable bears: Teddy Grahams. These were absolutely delectable. I remember I loved the yellow-boxed honey flavor the best, but my favorite color was blue and everything I had learned in my short life told me that if my favorite color is blue, I must always choose blue. So although the blue-boxed chocolate ones were good, it always left me wanting a little bit more, wanting to taste that sweet honey flavor.

Firsties!
my son liked them alot too, he was about 6 or so when they came out.
do they still make and sell them? I remember these being so yummy.
yes they still make them. saw it at the grocery store last month, im in d.c.
They’re usually sold in grocery stores in the same aisle as either cookies or crackers (or both, in my case). I’m an adult and I still buy and eat them… the only part of adulthood that’s as fun as it looked when you were a child is getting to buy whatever you want at the grocery store! Granted, unlike when you were a child, you want to buy a healthy, balanced diet, but it’s nice to see some kind of treat you want and just get it instead of having to beg your mom for it =)
You know how at graduation you give the diploma presenter something (i.e. marble, penny, etc) as you shake his hand. We gave Teddy Grahams – his name was Graham & our mascot was a bear. It turned out to be a very soggy, sticky gift since everyone was holding them in their sweaty hands for ~30 min.
Blast from the ass
I see furries….
they do still make them… my mom just discovered them and is obsessed. she just had surgery and they’re her one “treat.”
They come in those resealable pouches, like the mini-oreos and mini-chips a’hoy. In fact, Krogers occasionally has the pouches on sale for 10 for $10. I get the Teddies and the mini golden oreos.
All I can say is this:
OM NOM NOM NOM!!!
I remember losing one of my baby teeth on those things.
they have edible shelac on them. so yummy and “nutritious” like many of our other American treats.
Chocolate TG’s are probably the most perfect food ever. Crunchy and so chocolatey and nom nom nom nom nom. How come they only come in those single-serving boxes like goldfish crackers?
I love how the bottom of the box has about 200 ears and feet.
I used to eat the chocolate ones as cereal, ngl.
Yep they still make ‘em. I know this because if they ever cease making them, my pal Codename:Chrizzle will sell all his belongings, climb up on a mountaintop and await the End-times.
I only wish I could still find TG Bearwiches. Think ELFudgewich..but more ursine.
When I was 7 my family test-marketed Teddy Grahams before they were widely available. I brought them to school for show and tell, and no one was interested at all until lunchtime came and they realized that I was passing out cookies.
I liked the cinnamon ones best, but all the flavors were good!
If I remember correctly, for a time they made a TG cereal also.
