Epic Write Ups For Not-So Epic Wins
We got a lot of submissions, and unfortunately, not all of them garner enough votes to make it to the front page (it’s very democratic). But there are also a lot of great write ups that never get the attention they deserve, so I thought I would post some of my favorite unsung write ups here.
Doritos 3-D Chips

Submitted by Lil Blossom Katz
If Doritos, Bugles and Cheese Doodles were to get together and produce offspring, this would be it. This was peak of the doritos snack empire because of the wearable delight of these puffy light snacks made you begging for more. You could bite off one of the corners and wear it on your finger and pretend your fingers are either Baby Spice or Bubbles from PPG.
Muzzy
Submitted by eahern
Muzzy was the coolest thing you could ever watch in foreign language. An adorable alien who ate metal, he distracted us from the fact we were learning. It was really the cute little narrator who taught us how to count, the seasons and weather and much more in a strange, seemingly unrelated sequiturs to the actual story line. Whether we retained any actual knowledge of the foreign language, or even watched it in a language other than the english tape, we’ll always remember Muzzy enjoying a meal as he destroyed public property.
Baby Rollerblade
Submitted by Katie R
Baby Rollerblade made me want to learn how to Rollerblade- until she crossed over that line from the linoleum on the kitchen floor to the carpet in the living room and fell over onto one of her beautiful blond pigtails.

Doritos 3-D R.I.P.
OH MY GOSH! I was just thinking about Doritos 3-D! I never had any but the commercial was hilarious. The one where the kid held his breath, flapped his ears and floated three feet off his chair… and the old man with the straight face game him a full scholarship.
Of course, I was applying to college at the time, so that might be why I found it so funny….
yeah Muzzy ! We had the same lesson at school to learn English’s basics.
I use the french in French class still when we have subs, and I’m going into my 5th year of French!
I miss Doritos 3D
Muzzy! We watched the Spanish, French and German in junior high. I still remember how to say parking meter in Spanish. Useful, I know.
I watched Muzzy in ENGLISH!!!! xD
It was available in English here in Mexico. I still remember him and her computer, but I forgot how she was called. It was a very nice story, specially the Cloned Sylvias and Corbax and his “uber advanced” computer ^^ I liked the sound effects of the computer parts.
And I learned how to call in a different way parking meters (because in Spanish, Muzzy said “parquimetro” and my parents call it “estacionometro” xP)
I would SELL MY SOUL for a bag of 3D Doritos. They were my favorite chip ever. Just looking at a picture of them is making my mouth water and my eyes tear in nostalgia.
3-D Doritos! We used to bite off a corner, stick the nozzle of a tube of cheez whiz in the hole and fill ‘em up. Both were our road trip staples.
/drools/ You had to say 3-D. Nom.
OMG I had a Baby Rollerblade and all my friends thought it was sooo cool…until the day her arm fell off mid-stride. I think it’s still somewhere in my mom’s attic, minus that arm!
I remember Baby Rollerblade! I never had one, but I remember the commercials.
My friend has Muzzy in I think Spanish, though I never had Muzzy because Muzzy wasn’t available in Japanese or Chinese.
omg i freaking loved 3D doritos! my mom would give me a dollar for snacks everyday at school and i would always buy them!
Muzzy – I still remember one thing from the commercials: Je suis la jeune fille (I am a young girl).
Baby Rollerblade – meh
DORITOS 3D – OMG, more than Crystal Pepsi, more than Dunkaroos I wish these snacks would come back. We liked to bite off a corner and stick a black olive inside and eat it all in one bite.
LOOOOOVE 3-D’s!!
A friend of mine recently had Dunkaroos… I miss them! I wonder where she found them…
I saw them at BJs (like Sams and Costco) a few weeks ago.
I remember these!!!! what’s even more retro is the fact that they were only 99cents
Muzzy! I remember Muzzy! We used it to learn english
When I was a kid, I begged my parents for months for a Baby Rollerblade. On Christmas I finally got one! Then I tested her out on the dining room table. She rollerbladed right off the end and broke.
I liked 3-D Doritos, but didn’t care when they stopped making them.
I loved Muzzy!
ahhhhh!! Baby Rollerblade. we sure had some fun scaring dogs with that!!
i dont know where i watched it, but i remember watching muzzy a LOT as a small child. i believe the french one was the one we saw most, but if i remember correctly there was russian, or polish or some other godawful slavic language. super funny.
Im still hoping Doritos will re releases jalapeno cheddar 3d Doritos, and they need to bring back the salsa flavor. All the special flavors they have right now suck.
