Epic Win: Crossfire

Submitted by Jason L

I liked this commercial more than I enjoyed playing the game. In case you’re wondering what the lyrics are, I’ve transcribed them for you:

It’s sometime in the future…
the ultimate challenge…
CROSSFIRE!

CROSSFIRE!
you’ll get caught up in the
CROSSFIRE!

[enter bass line]

CROSSFIRE!
you’ll get caught up in the
CROSSFIRE!

CROSSFIRE!
CROSSFIRE!
CROSSFIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRREEEEE!

Incorrect source or offensive?

  1. Miroku says:

Anyone care to post the AVGN Board James video?

    I guess I’ll do it.

  2. cakeislie says:

Aw… I was gonna post that.

  3. Indian says:

That does not look fun at all. I love to play “Don’t Break the Ice” I would always wack people with the little hammer and yell “That’s thinking with your dipstick Jimmy!”

  4. Leif says:

The balls also were pretty awesome ammo for the slingshot. That’s where all mine ended up, anyways.

  5. Josh says:

    Dumbest board (bored) game ever.

  6. splendid says:

I was always mad that the semi-ginger kid won in the commercial. Somehow he never looked hardcore enough to win at CROSSFIRE!!!

    • George says:

I just realized. This board game idea was taken from a cartoon that was popularized in the chinese regions waaay before it came over here. Sometime google or youtube “B-daman”, a cartoon/ real game where they have little guns that launch metal balls, or “Strike shots” and it’s pretty much like this, but instead of getting a goal, they pretty much kill eachother xD It’s like crossing, Crossfire with DBZ xD

  7. ecf says:

Ha, I just found this when I was cleaning out my friends basement! It was such a terrible game, the guns always got jammed and they never shot hard enough to move the pucks.

  8. MrBojangles says:

I used to have this game way back when. I remember that I stopped playing it because whenever you had to get the balls out of the gutter thing to reload the gun, it always cut up my knuckles.

  9. luke says:

Did anyone else see the AVGN’s review of this game? He brought in Mother****** Mike for it!

  10. TheSaintOfPain says:

My brother and I got this game as a Christmas gift when we were little. It took only about an hour for about half of the metal balls to go missing, and we broke one of the plastic side guards almost as soon as we started playing. We owned the game for a total of about 2 weeks, before we lost all of the balls and both pucks, mostly from just throwing them at each other instead of using them in the game. All in all, it wasn’t that great of a game, and cheaply made to boot.

  11. 1983guy says:

I grew up loving this game and the commercial. My friends and I made a one minute video about this commercial, if you like the commercial, you will like it.

  12. Kristen says:

Lol I remember that commercial! Now I have the song stuck in my head. . .

  13. Jon says:

    Holy cow! Its Battle Bdaman.
