well smurf repoduction is simple the smurfs repoduce like bees with smurfette being the queen but only one can mate with her that is why a battle to the death with the victor the right to mate

Well, they Smurf and Smurf until a Smurf gets Smurfed up. Then some time later, that Smurf gives Smurf to a baby Smurf. And that is how they Smurf- I mean reproduce.

In the show, Papa Smurf told the other Smurfs that once in a blue moon, a baby Smurf would appear. I remember this because it made me wonder what a blue moon was.
Once in a blue moon a baby smurf will be brought to the village by stork. If I recall correctly.
A blue moon is an extra full moon in a year because there are leftover days at the end of the year and they add up to make enough extra days that you have a 13th full moon in a year, so I believe there is a blue moon only once every 2-4 years.
I thought it was when you got 2 full moons in 1 month, and happened approx every 3 years?
That would be the definition I know as well…

Smurfs are all hermaphrodites.
Smurfs reproduce asexually. They don’t even have genitalia underneath those little white pants
Cmon ppl. Smurfette was made my Gargamel. She’s asexual. No one is smurfing Smurfette. There has to be another way.
I remember that! The “baby Smurfs” just showed up, I think a stork may have brought them. I have vague recollections of a blue moon being involved… but I don’t remember the details… I prefer to think that someone got ‘Smurfed-up’.

My drawing professor, Gerard Baldwin, worked on the Smurfs, he was an animator/artist [he worked on Rocky & Bullwinkle, the original 'Grinch', Mr. Magoo and a few other obscure projects too]. He was totally awesome. He really understood drawing and drawing students.
The Smurfs looked cute. Never watched it though 
Smurf Reproduction is very simple. Blue moon = Baby Smurf. How did this get so sordid? Didn’t everyone see that episode?

There was a pretty big Smurf fail when UNICEF came out with an anti war video where the Smurf village got bombed(smurfed?). It was kinda funny in a smurfy way.
Gather around you smurfs because I’m gonna tell you this once; once every 2 to 4 years the blue moon would appear and that’s when Smurfette would “magically” get wasted that’s when all the smurfs in smurf ville will have the option to take turns taking her into their own ’shroom houses and smurf her. It’s a big she-bang called “SmurfFest.”
So that my little smurfs is where Smurfs come from.
