Epic Win: Collapsing Wooden Toys

Collapsible-Toy

Submitted and Written by Rachael G

Who didn’t love these? The best part was figuring out how to make them dance and completely collapse. These seem to be pretty hard to find. I found some at a drug store recently but they aren’t very responsive and don’t dance or collapse. :(

I loved those too. I used to be surprised when you made them lean down and then they sprang up again. :)

  2. KSH says:

My hubbie and I have two that we were given when we moved into our new house. I guess they are a staple to his family. I LOVE THEM.

  3. dgfasorgirutg says:

How many animals were there? I remember collapsing cows and pigs, but never deer like in the picture.

  4. Stick says:

The best is telling kid not to play with and, when he eventually does and makes it collapse, watch them flip out.

  9. yasoup says:

These are sold at a historic town near my own town (I live in Texas) that has a lot of pioneer/cowboy-esque history. There are old houses made into shops and one of the shops is owned by some nice German-family people…and theses are sold her. I like to make them snap and make sounds.

  10. Deminia says:

In Frankfurt they sell them at the main trainstation, there’s some dude who’s got a lot of wooden toys for sale who sells them. I bought a few on my way back to the Netherlands after my job interview, I have since seen the guy again but since moving to Germany I don’t have the money to waste sadly enough :(
