The point of the game was to sneak to the refrigerator in the middle of the night. It played like a cross between Chutes and Ladders and hot potato, more of a novelty for the plastic Dad that would spring up if you pushed the alarm clock enough times.
Still, I always wondered why Daddy would be so angry if the kids got a midnight snack. Maybe the fridge was full of booze.

Never liked this one.
My niece had this game. She dearly loved playing it. The adults HATED it with a passion. Thank God she outgrew it fast!

Never played it. The English version is ‘Don’t wake Dad’ I remember the advert “Don’t wake Dad – it’s mad!”
Never played the game myself, but I played the live-action version of it at home with the bathroom instead of the fridge. I don’t know EXACTLY why the dad in the game was upset, except that my dad was that upset if we woke him too. Dad was a VERY light sleeper and he slept in the bedroom that had the bed with the headboard on one side of the wall and the bathroom on the other. DON’T WAKE DADDY!!!
Not gonna lie i loved this game and I remember my dad hated it, who can blame him i made him play it every day

Hahahah i never understood why the fridge would be in the bedroom however. XD i played this at my friends house when i was younger and thought it was the most ridiculous game ever. Why is daddy so pissed if u open the fridge? lol does he have like a huge stash of Old English in there? Mayne daddy is just a little middle aged ghetto pimp who keeps his O.E super cold. lol

A few years ago, my niece who is now 9 found this game in my basement and wanted to try it and she loved it! Every time she comes over she asks to play it.
I never found this game relatable. Maybe because my parents could easily sleep through a giant meteor crash landing in our yard.

What about Don’t wake the Dragon? That’s the one I had… I think it came out earlier than Don’t Wake Daddy too.
