Epic Win: JELL-O Pops
In stark contrast to today’s children’s snack food commercials, these seem so naive and innocent. They present the Jell-O pudding pops as something appetizing and delicious for children, while also appealing to parents with their healthy calorie claims. Today’s brands wouldn’t dare announce their calorie count on television or they would have to dress it up with clever marketing by using the per serving claims (and then announce that a serving is only 1/4 of the Popsicle).
To top it all off, they have Bill Cosby, who’s pudding pop commercials were epic and impressions of them and of Cosby have become part of our pop culture lexicon.

oh, pudding pops. how i love thee. i don’t see them any more? they were so tasty and good. i loved vanilla the best. now i want one!
wow, great ad.
I had never seen this before.
Pudding pops were awesome, but Brad Garrett != epic.
My wife and I saw him and Ray Romano when they were on tour a few years ago, and he did nothing but insult the audience the entire time he was on stage.
Jell-O Gelatin Pops – or Pudding Pops?
That was the first great Cosby Impression I’ve seen. Kudos Brad Garret.
I don’t remember pudding pops themselves, but I remember the little home kit which basically included Jello pudding plastic sticks and instructions to put the sticks into some pudding and freezing them. They were pretty good though!
