That bomb quote is the first thing I thought of when I saw this. Adam West is so Shatnerrific. He should get his own adjective!

POW!! WHAP!!! oh those fights were so much fun to watch and the opening song can get stuck in your head so fast.
Nobody rocked man boobs like Adam West.
He was almost as awesome as Julie Newmar in that series. I still remember the end of one episode where they’re all in Commissioner Gordon’s office, watching her being led away in her skin-tight costume and hearing Robin ask “Do you think we’ve seen the end of her?”
Julie Newmar totally Rocked as Cat Woman! I believe in one episode she and Batman had a little sumthin on the side going on – she asked him if he’s wait for her to get out of prison! Hot stuff for a Pre-teen! ….Eartha Kitt didn’t do the character justice…..
Eartha had the best voice for it though :3 apparently back then a lot of people complained about a black woman and a white man having a romantic interest in each other, so the tension between the two was really toned down. I can’t remember very well though, to the youtube!

I loved that movie.
The movie scene with Batman (West) hanging off the ladder to the Bat-Copter beatting the foam rubber shark prop is the only thing I can remember of that movie. At the time I litterally ROFL. I still smile with a breath of a snicker. I need to watch that again.

lol awesome show with maximum campiness! same bat time same bat channel! and letas not forget the batusi ! so many great actors played villians too! Burgess Meridith ( the penguin) Cesar Romero ( the joker) Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt as Catwoman, Liberace as Chandell, talulah bankhead and Black widow and so many more , loved the reuns from wheni was akid
He had a perfect batman voice, but not so much a perfect stomach.
Fantastic show, fantastic movie! I saw the re-runs for the first time just before I started college and have been hooked ever since! A campy, feel-good classic! Definitely an American staple!
Also, you gotta love every single Catwoman (Newmar, Meriwether & Kitt), Cesar Romero, the painted moustache Joker (another epic win) and my favorite, Frank Gorshin as the maniacal Riddler!
One thing I remember loving is that the mayor could be on the phone with Bruce Wayne and then Batman one after the other and not notice a thing even though he didn’t change his voice. BOFF! Gorshin as Riddler and Romero as mustachioed Joker were epic win as well. ZOK!

Of course Burt Ward with his Gosh! Golly! Gee whiz! Holy shrinkage! was great, too. WAP! We need to make an emergency bat-turn! No it might damage the lawn! BIF! They really need to get this out on DVD for those of use who miss watching it at the same bat-time on the same bat-channel… POW!
This brings back so many memories. Adam west and Cesar Romero were awesome along with all the other actors.

I love how he always plays himself as totally looney tunes. It makes it extra funny knowing that it’s actually him as the voice actor.
