» 29 Blasts From The Past

  1. lightchild79 says:

i never thought of doing this with a powerwheel. a pow pow power wheel

    • Katie says:

I was never spoiled enough to get Power Wheels… we were “po-po-po”.
But, having seen the antics people get up to with them, I’m glad to say that I also have never thought of using Power Wheels like this.

      • Anonymous says:

We never got one either. I do remember my sister and me trying to ingratiate ourselves with the kids that did have them.
Am I the only one who noticed that PowerWheels never worked on the terrain the kids in the commercial are driving it on?

  2. biscuit says:

I always wanted one of these, but never got it.

on a side note, am i the only one who think the power wheels theme song sounds alot like the original Power Rangers theme song? or am i just being weird?

    • Lisbeth says:

Nah, the Power Rangers theme song had way more guitar, and way less-guy-with-a-deep-voice.

      • biscuit says:

Really? I kinda thought the “GO GP POWER RANGERS” and the “POW- POW- POWERE WHEELS” kinda sounded REALLY similar. Oh well gues it was just me.

But the original Power Rangers ROCKED. Unlike todays umpteen-million versions.

Wish I had some pics or vidoes of ‘em that i could post. Anyone else out there got some?

  3. Allison says:

Another sweet toy my parents never bought for me.
And my spoiled friends down the street had 2! A-holes!
One was a car, and one was a Police motor-cycle.

    • Allison says:

OK, just watched that video. Looks like fun.
Am I the only one who used toys the way they were intended?
      Man, I’m such a square!

  4. TC says:

We had a Batmobile power wheels. It was awesome, don’t remember what happened to it when we outgrew it though.

  5. lelah says:

My parents were really into ~safety~ when I was a kid, they didn’t get us one because they knew we would flip it on purpose reenacting a car crash. But I always wanted one!

  6. Tori says:

Am I the only one thinking that they could’ve used something less expensive than a car to jump?

  7. SomeGuy says:

    Only in America…

  8. Lynnie says:

Never had one, had those Cozy Coupes from Little Tikes…hey when are those gonna be on here?

Always wanted a Power Wheel, who cares if you ram into the side of the house? Cozy Coupes caused countless ankle abrasions from having to Flintstone it down the driveway.

  9. Allison says:

“having to Flintstone it down the driveway.”

    LOL LOL LOL! :D

  10. Mike says:

i had the Tonka dump truck. We’d use it to garden and stuff it was badass.

  11. kot says:

lol that guy like to hurt himself..

  12. di says:

i have a theory about power wheels:

if you had one growing up, you did NOT have a big wheel. and vice versa. it’s been true of every single person i’ve asked. and believe me, i’ve asked a LOT.

  13. risa says:

man, i miss my power wheels, i had the red jeep, but without the roof attachment, i thought i was the coolest girl on the block with that thing lol

  14. Jeremy says:

Me and the kid down the street tried driving my power wheels up a mound of dirt and it flipped over and fell on top of us.

  15. Saramakk says:

I think this was the toy that taught me the value of a dollar. I wanted one SO bad and my mom said “It’s too expensive, those cost a hundred dollars” and I thought “Ooh a hundred dollars that is so much money”. Was the cozy coupe the little car that you used your feet to move? I had a little purple one, it cost way less than a hundred dollars.

  16. crazy freak says:

they need to make adult sized ones and i dont wanna hear any smart-ass comments sayin ya they’re called cars

  17. acromegliac says:

    what’s the song?

    • Quincy says:

Mindless Self Indulgence “Shut Me Up”. When the song started I actually thought my boyfriend’s cell phone was ringing because that’s his ringtone lol.

Man I wanted a Powerwheel so bad when I was a kid. And now that I’m 21 and own my own car, I still want one :D

  18. Jess says:

I used to have a Jeep, once my brother and I decided we were going to run away in it, but it wasn’t fast enough for mom! She tore the bars off the back. lulz

  19. FirePaw says:

I remember craShing one & ripping my left nut open.

  20. amyrenee2413 says:

urghhhh my kids 2nd birthday is on thursday, and his dad is buying him one of these… win?? or fail??

  21. llc says:

this was for kids with money.
