I always got buzzed too. At least, I did before I lost all the pieces and eventually my mother had to use REAL tweezers to get a shard from a lost piece out of the bottom of my sister’s foot.
Ouch!
My nieces got the “new” Operation game for Christmas, and it’s terribly annoying! It makes all kinds of weird noises, not just the original buzz. Give me the old game over the new any day.
ah the greatness of choking hazards and easily lost parts, that was the death of operation game. we need more games with choking hazards. WHO THE HECK CARES ABOUT SAFETY! SAFE IS NOT FUN!
OMG me too!!! It would scare me so bad that I think I played it twice in my life. It scarred me forever and I hate it to this day. Just watching the video and anticipating the buzz made me anxious. LOL!
My brother and I used to lay the tweezers on the metal edges to make a long continuous buzzing sound, then go hide in the closet. We could hear my mom shouting from across the house to stop it. Then after a few minutes, she’d come in the room and kick it, “Freakin Kids!”
When my husband had major heart surgery at the age of 43, he was given not 1, not 2, but 3 (THREE!) of these games: 2 regular size and 1 mini keychain size. Ha, ha, people. Very funny. Ok, actually it was pretty funny.
I got this game when I was like 7 or something. The buzzing scared me and my little brother too much, so mom and dad said we couldn’t play it anymore until I was about 10 years old. By then, I wasn’t scared.
Operation was too cool! My brother never got buzzed and he would just laugh at me cause I always did. He was such an A**. LOL!!

My kids got that last year and I feel the same way. Give me the old game any day.
That buzz totally makes you jump and really damage the patient!

These guys aren’t drunk, they’re stoned out of their minds.

My occupational therapist tried to use this to improve my hand-eye coordination. Didn
t work.
This game gave me nightmares. I refused to play it.
I always messed up at that game, and so did everyone I knew.
