  1. Rebecca says:

I totally loved these! I have fond memories of my cat trying to knock them down as I played with them. Nostalgic win!

  2. Lynnie says:

These were fun! Used to flick them as hard as we could to get ‘em to fall. They really NEVER do!

  3. utaduta says:

i still have a few mickey mouse club ones left floating around. it pains me to think how much that would go for on Ebay! it was a club house with all the disney characters and club members.
the new ones suck, just not the same. i’m sure the old ones were choking hazzards!

  4. sillywhiskers says:

I had the Weeble treehouse with the pink/green girl pictured and a blue boy weeble. Loved ‘em.

    • Ashlyn28 says:

I had the treehouse as well, with about 10 weebles, with the see saw, slide, and other playground equipment that went with it. I loved playing with that thing.

One Easter my mother hard boiled and dyed Easter eggs, and it was my job to hide them around the house. I hid one in the “hidey hole” in the tree trunk, and promptly forgot about it. 3 months later, I found the stinking thing still sitting there in the tree trunk. Ah, memories.

      Epic win, on this one.

      • BrightEyes says:

The treehouse was THE BEST. Loved it!

Did anyone else mispronounce the word “Weeble”? I don’t know how old I was before I learned they weren’t called “Weeple People”…

  5. Allison says:

I had a weeble. One. Singular.
How do you end up wth ONE freaking weeble? They came in sets, darnit! Must have gotten it from someone’s house.
Anyway, it was a Donald Duck one and I didn’t even think of it until Utaduta mentioned the Disney character ones.

  6. TC says:

I never heard of this before now. Wow, when did it come out?

    • moosluvr says:

      They’re from the early 1970’s. :)

I remember the western theme commercial. For weeks if our family was going somewhere either my sister or I would call out “westward ho the Weebles!”

      Drove our folks nuts. :D

  7. RS says:

Ohhh, I had this set! DEFINITE win!

  8. Scurvy Dog says:

I had the Weebles Western Playset, with “cowboy” Weebles. The horses may have wobbled too, but I’m not sure – that was about 33 years ago or so.

My neighbor had the Weebles haunted house. I remember a trap door and a “ghost” Weeble that glowed in the dark.

  9. Matilda says:

These were my favorite toy when I was little. I had the tree house too and would spend entire days playing with them. The modern ones stink, just not the same.

  10. Lulu says:

Wow, what a flashback. I had a little cottage with a couple weebles. I remember a little garage and a car and the roof flipped up. There might have been a slide somewhere. *lol* Those weebles never fell down but they hurt like a mother if someone winged one at you. *giggle*

  11. Ham says:

Ah, man, loved the Weebles. I had the Weebles haunted house and the Weebles Disneyland sets. One thing I found out the hard way–don’t get those old Weebles wet. The picture on the inside of their face would shrivel and warp.

  12. Anonymous says:

The Weeble Disney Magic Kingdom FTW!

  13. Athanar says:

“Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down.”

My brother made one fall down on a stable hardwood floor… =_= It wasn’t defective or anything, either, I should’ve taken a picture…

  14. Steve W. says:

I’ve got an old dufflebag filled with my old Weebles somewhere in my mom’s house. I had the Western playset, a sailing ship, and the treehouse. This really makes me want to break them out and marvel at them.

  15. DeathtoDuckHuntDog says:

Win to infinity…and perhaps beyond! :D *sings* Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down!

  16. Sunny says:

OMG!!!!! I had Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and the weeble wobbles that went with it when I was little. I loved playing with them.

Here’s a picture of one just like what I had.

  17. Wildbriar says:

I LOVED my Weebles. I had the Weeble Tree House, Haunted House, Cottage…. I was a Weeble Freak! The most fun ones were the ones that came with the Haunted House, a Vampire Weeble, Franken-Weeble and, my favorite, a glow-in-the-dark Ghost Weeble.

Wish I knew where those things went. New “Weebles” just aren’t Weebles, they’re more like the Fisher-Price Little People with round bottoms. Feh

  18. I want to recall a Weeble RV or camper van or something. Or am I just hallucinating?

  19. will1966 says:

Does anyone besides me roll their eyes when someone calls them “Weeble Wobbles”? I HATE when people do that! :P

  20. Lynnie says:

I wonder if I was the only kid that wanted to take a bagel guillotine to the Weebles to see what made them work…

  21. Lost in Space says:

Weebles are worth quite a pretty penny on evilBay. Nostalgia = big bucks!

  22. gladys says:

OMFG. The saddest thing about me has just come to light.

You know that Weeble Circus commercial?
    I remembered the lyrics.
No–I mean ALL the lyrics. The WHOLE FRICKIN COMMERCIAL.

I am a way bigger dork than even I ever supposed.

However, Weebles are the winningest win that ever winned–I’m actually getting a teeny bit misty-eyed b/c one of my favorite memories of my dad is playing with the Weebles in the living room when I was about 4 or 5…we had xillions of Weeble accoutrements, and if I remember correctly, we used to steal some of the Fisher-Price Little People’s property (when they were still the little wooden peg guys) and add their houses, cars, businesses, etc, to the Weebles’ collection.

    I miss my dad. Stoopid Weeble-nostalgia… :)

  23. Boumama says:

I wanted Weebles. I begged. I pleaded…I got more FP Little People. One of many ways I can prove my mother may have hated me, and certainly loved (loves) my brothers more….

  24. Achi says:

There was a cannon to launch Weebles??!!! How did I miss that! Well my sister had them mostly. I just remember spinning them on a hard surface.

  25. hee hee says:

EPIC EPIC *EPIC* **EPIC BEYOND ALL EPIC** WIN!!!!! I LOVED my Weebles! We had the tree house! The new ones have nothing ‘Weeble’ about them.

  26. Archon says:

Oh man, I STILL have one.
We used to use them as BATH TOYS.. they diddnt get waterlogged!
So as we grew up and got older.. the toys of youth get tossed or donated. But ONE weeble was spared this fate. It lived in the bathroom drawer for years and years.
And when we moved I couldnt bear to part with her. I man, she lived in my bahtroom drawer forever! NOw that I am all grown up… my weeble witch lives on my workbench in the garage. Pretty messed up… but STILL NOT FALING DOWN.

  27. RavPadfoot says:

I had a Weebles treehouse and I assumed that it was from Winnie the Pooh but was I wrong? Hmm. I know that I had Winnie the Pooh Weebles, anyway.

  28. TJ says:

Weebles Wobble but they don’t fall down! That still goes through my head to this day.. and I’m 40 now. LOL

I had a weebles house and an airplane, if I remember correctly. LOVED them.

  29. Jeff says:

I must be just the right age to not only appreciate the old toys, but also the Lawnmower Deth song about them.

  30. llc says:

rip off of the russian tea dolls, in my opinion.
