i remember playing this everyday at my after school program. there was this one boy no one could beat, even the group leaders. for his birthday he got 6 connect 4 games and kept every single one. only one kid beat him. good times

I love playing Connect Four when I get the chance. Usually, the game I play gets close to the end when either I win, I lose by not looking carefully, or neither me nor the opponent wins.

The yellow player is an idiot. There’s an obvious red win in the middle row. Someone was definitely NOT their third grade Connect Four champion.

Also, it has been proven that by going first and placing in the middle row, you can always win. I googled connect four a while back and found some dude’s master’s thesis on it. Of course, once you read it, it takes all the fun out of the game.

The best part of the game was dumping all the checkers out at the end. My brother and I would fill up the board without trying to make a connection, just so we could empty it all over the kitchen table. Good times.

The “Captain’s Mistress” thing doesn’t make any sense. How can Capt’n Cook play this game by himself? He must’ve played the game with his parrot or something
